Williamson County, Tennessee to Hold Special Meeting to
Discuss Opting Out of Park Carry Law
A special joint committee meeting has been called by Tennessee’s Williamson County Commission Chairman, Houston Naron, Jr. for tomorrow, Thursday, June 25 at 5:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of the County Administrative Complex. Several members of the Williamson County Commission are expected to be in attendance for the purpose of discussing the recent park carry law and to consider opting out.
This meeting is open to the public, so we encourage you to attend in support of our Second Amendment rights. This is not a hearing, so those in attendance will be unable to speak directly to the commission, but may be afforded the opportunity to talk to members upon adjournment. If you’re unable to attend, please express your support for the park carry law by contacting the Williamson County Mayor and Commission.
The next Williamson County Commission meeting will be held on Monday, July 13, at 9 a.m. During this scheduled meeting, any filed park carry opting-out resolutions may be put to a vote.
