What are the chances??? I've been shooting steel targets most of my life, and I have only seen a ricochet with 30/06 AP rounds. We were a little too close, and the jacket flew back.
I guess a video like this totally kills any chance of getting something else to shoot at if we get a new range location.

It has to be the way he was set up, maybe his target was TOO rigid, and didn't give. There are just too many competitions that use steel plates. I have been to Knob Creek and watched as several guys at one time, hammered away at an engine block w/ .50 BMG. Literally thousands of rounds and I have never seen this.
